Ich bin Fertig!

In other news and there is no easy way to say this, I quit my high powered, high flying job last Friday. My last day of employment will be August 31. At this point I do not have a new job yet but even if I dont land one anytime soon, my brother and I are going into business together.

Thats All Folks.

What will you and your bro be doing? Think you could use a smart, beautiful woman on your team? Good luck.

Bravo. It's not an easy thing to do, it requires courage, but you've taken the plunge so there's no looking back. Let us know how you're doing. I've been contemplating the same thing for a while... Good luck, dude.

dude, one minute you are describing the interns and their admirable work ethic, the next you are quitting? What happened? So many questions: Who will look after Olivia? Who will teach me how to be a yuppie? When your new company needs to splash money on consultants, will you remember to call me?

But most importantly, What is the story behind this abrupt action?

It takes guts to do what you have done. Believe me, the hardest part is over, leaving your comfort zone. the rest won't be as tough. you have it in you to prevail if you are able to get up and walk out.

What can I say? Of course I am a little besides myself that you could quit without telling me. For the record, if you need a job, come and see me before the end of next week. You will be hired - and that is a fact. Be Good and Do Not Drive Yourself to the Ground.

Secondly, tell Baz that Olivia is well taken care of and that consultants at your "high powered job" get peanuts considering that they are monkeys ... Mostly, anyway.

Okay, if D isn't going to give us the full scoop about how he couldn't work with all the sexual harrasment that goes on around him, I shall just put up my congratulations and good luck now before dude puts up another post and this comments roll dies.

You are a brave man, and the future is created by the likes of you, Degstar.

O.K, abrupt action it would seem...I do not get it. Nevertheless, a wise man once said "when one door closes another opens." I wish you all the luck in your future endeavours, Deg.

The old man -his excellency YKM7 will pat your shoulders! Hasn't he always preached the gospel of job creation? That's the way to go, man! Been scratching my head of myself, wondering what i can do to put a meal on my table instead of roaming the streets job searching. There is this chick who advised that if i have nothing, i should still start with that nothing and soar on...well Deg, you'll make it, no doubt. Like the title of one movie, "Good Night Godd Luck!"

I am assuming that you thought this over and therefore you had your good reasons. All the best to you in whatever you and your bro are going to be doing.

Will you miss being a corporato?
